Individual Psychotherapy
Depth-oriented work to understand yourself beyond your symptoms and gently meet the wounded parts within.

Long Beach, California
My name is Mary Flocca, and I am a depth-focused psychotherapist who specializes in somatic psychology. My integrative approach to mental health is supported by three methodologies including Jungian Psychology, Somatic Psychology and Mindfulness.

I'm Mary Flocca
My ideal clients are people who not only wish to address their mental health, but develop a deeper understanding of oneself. My intention is to help clients achieve relief from symptoms of mental health by working to heal the wounded aspects of themselves. I strive to focus on the individual, not their diagnosis or symptomatology. I have worked alongside clients to address Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Addiction.
I have extensive background working with adolescents and adults, as well as specifically with the first responder population. In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I have been a yoga teacher for ten years. I specialize in working with the unconscious by analyzing psychological material from both the mind and body. Mind and body are always working in tandem, therefore I incorporate the body therapeutically through embodied awareness and somatic practices including yoga, meditation, and breathwork.
